When a 911 call enters the command center, K-Dispatch captures it immediately — whether voice, text-to-911, or an automated IoT sensor alert. The system extracts the caller's location via Enhanced 911 (E911) and plots it on the live GIS map. Simultaneously, the AI engine classifies the incident type (fire, medical emergency, crime in progress, traffic collision) and assigns a priority level based on agency-configurable protocols.
The dispatcher sees an on-screen unit recommendation: which patrol cars, ambulances, or fire units are closest, which are available, and what the optimal route is given real-time traffic. One click executes the dispatch — the unit receives a mobile app notification with full incident details, nearby camera feeds (via K-Video), and address history.
Throughout the incident, K-Dispatch maintains an auditable timeline: every status change, every communication, every decision. When multiple agencies are involved — police, fire, EMS, traffic — the system automatically coordinates radio frequencies and communication channels. Upon incident closure, an after-action report is generated that feeds the predictive model to improve future response times.
